Privacy statement

Your personal data is processed exclusively by the owner of Bob de webbouwer, Marcel Melis. You can find our company details on the contact page.

Other parties that may have access to your personal data include our hosting provider and Google, as we store backups on Google Drive. With these parties, we have signed Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

When you submit a quotation request

By submitting our quotation request form, you give us permission to:

• Contact you by phone and/or email to follow up on your request
• Store the information you provide, as well as related communication (such as emails and notes from phone calls), securely in our customer management system so all data is kept in one place

If you do not respond or decide not to use our services, your data will be retained for a maximum of 8 weeks after the last contact. After this period, your data will be automatically deleted from our system.

When you become a client

If you place an order with us, we will ask you to provide your address details. These are stored securely in our customer management system and used for your contract and invoice.

We retain this data for up to 7 years after the last contact. This retention period is required for accounting and tax purposes (in accordance with Dutch law).

In addition to your name and address, we also store other relevant data as mentioned above for up to 7 years after the last contact. This is not legally required, but helps us provide better service if you return as a customer in the future.

Your rights

If you would like to know which personal data we have stored about you, or if you would like non-essential data to be deleted, you can contact us at bob@bobthewebbuilder.com. We will respond as soon as possible and no later than within 4 weeks.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
